πŸ“œ Constitution

Our aim is to support and encourage amateur radio communications and the use of computers for communication purposes.

Membership runs from 1st July to 30th June each year. The AGM (Annual General Meeting) is held in May, where fees are set, and officers and committee members are elected.

πŸ’° Annual Subscriptions

Ordinary Membership: Β£18.00

Junior (under 18), Students & Over 65s: Β£12.00

To apply, simply visit one of our meetings and speak with a committee member. Alternatively, download the membership form and bring it along.

Payment can be made by bank transfer – speak to our Treasurer, Colin M6NCU, for details. If paying by transfer, use your callsign as a reference.

Cash payments are also accepted at meetings. Cheques are no longer accepted.

πŸ›οΈ Club Meetings

Meetings are held at St Peter’s Hall and other venues. Members & visitors contribute a Β£2.00 Door Fee to help with running costs (hall rental, tea, coffee, biscuits).

🎟️ Meeting Raffle

A Β£1 raffle ticket gives you a chance to win from multiple prizes at each church hall meeting.

Awarded to a member who has made a major contribution to the club. Recent winners:

Awarded for contributions to the club magazine. Recent winners:

The Construction Shield is awarded to the best project. In 2022, Mike, G8DJO won with a Muon Detector.
